At present, Baosteel Co., Ltd. NGO silicon steel has been certificated by BYD new energy vehicles, and will replace imported materials to manufacture new energy vehicle driven motor, with massive order has been placed. It is another breakthrough of Baosteel's product application in BYD automobile, and will drive and demonstrate the equipment in domestic new energy car models.

Last year, the national new energy automobile sales amounted to 75,000, among which BYD Qin series model has been sold by 14,700, holding a safe lead in home-made brand market. In the 1st quarter of this year, 6319 of such model has been sold, accounting for one-fourth among domestic new energy automobile market.

Based on the explosive growth tendency of demand on BYD new energy automobile, Baosteel new energy automobile steel team has been engaged from early last year, with special arrangement and multi-channel promotion. With the consolidation of its driven motor shank supplier, through several round of material optimization & trial, scientific promotion proposal is formulated, and finally recognized by the customer.
